Wallflowers

I love this  Clarity Wallflower set which I bought recently when it was on special offer. I've been dying to experiment with Perfect Pearls after watching Barbara Gray's demonstration at the GNPS in Harrogate earlier this month.  To colour the image I used a water brush and the perfect gold, perfect copper, kiwi and forever green mica powders.  The individual flowers have then been cut out and decoupaged.  The message is a Clarity Stamp which is also a recent purchase having its first outing, it has been stamped with black archival ink and heat embossed with detail clear embossing powder.  I am very pleased with the outcome and the photo seems to captures the sheen quite well.. I'v matted the main image onto black card and create the background matt with the Clarity dotty wave stencil and Adirondack Peach Bellini.  This is the first Clarity mask I've bought and am very impressed with it.  I also recently invested in a set of the Clarity stencil brushes which I have to say are fantastic, much better than the brushes I've been using up until now, I can definitely recommend them, and they clean up so easily.  I hope you like the finished card, all comments are gratefully received thanks.

Baby Girl

I've used this baby stamp a couple of times already and I think its lovely for either a girl or boy.  On this occasion its for a baby girl, born a few weeks ago to a friend, and I still have to deliver it!  I've used the Lili of the Valley stamp for the main image.  For the background I've used some pink dotty card.  The topper is matted onto a spellbinder and another decorative matt.  Pink pearls decorate the edge of the card, gems in center of the flowers and a lace border at the bottom.  I've added a pink ribbon bow at the top of the baby's cradle to finish off.  The theme for the March Lili of the Valley challenge is crafty bingo and I am hoping this fits the line pearls, lace and gems and possibly the ribbon, pearls and flowers line as well.  I am entering this card for the following challenges:

Have a wonderful birthday

Hi, I've been busy making a few birthday cards over the last month, some for myself to send and a couple for someone else.  I'm particularly proud of this one, I think it looks really clean and simple, its made using the Clarity vase, bouquet of flowers and crackle background stamps.  The crackle background on the card and vase is heat embossed with gold embossing powder, the flowers have been coloured with promarkers. The vase and greeting are matted onto spellbinder dies and edged with mountain rose Adirondack ink. The butterflies are from Stamps by Chloe flutterby border, they have been coloured with water and cosmic shimmer powders and cut into individual butterflies. I hope you like it too.
