Purple and Pink flowers

This another of the cards I've made using a club stamp from Clarity Stamps and a sentiment from Justrite.

I stamped the background with second generation Raspberry Adirondack ink and the focal flowers with the same Raspberry and some Dusty Concord Distress inks.  I cut out the four central flowers and heat embossed them with some clear detail powder to make them shine and placed a gem in the center although that doesn't show up very well on the photo.  The florish and backing is cut from some purple card.

Pearls and Lace

Some cheerful flowers to brighten things up for this card made with Clarity Stamps and stencils and a Heartfelt Creations sentiment stamped onto a die cut.  The background has been created by covering a piece of Clarity Geli card in Worn Lipstick Distress Ink and dry embossing with a leafy swirl stencil from Clarity and matted onto some dark blue card.

To stamp the flower I've used a technique I've not tried before with any success.  I coloured the stamp with my limited number of Distress Markers eg Meadow for the leaves, Worn Lipstick and Persimmon for the flowers. I am saving up to get some reinkers to try out the method of stamping onto a piece of felt and colouring with the inks but at the moment its not something I possess.

There is a small pearl in the centre of each flower both in the main image and border.  I've die cut a fancy border in dark blue and added a lace border to the edge of the card. Finally I've gone round all the edges with some stickles glue to add sparkle.

Daisies

This is my entry for the February Clarity Stamp Challenge to make something using flowers.

For this card I have used the ClarityNew Design Club stamps for January. The flowers on the background have been stamped with the solid stamp in Mountain Rose Adirondack and Broken China Distress ink using a second generation ink onto a piece of peach card. For the flowers on the topper I stamped the outline in black Archival and the solid part of the flower in the same colours again but heat embossed them with clear detail powder then cut into the petals to make them more dimensional. I've used a spellbinder die for the flourish behind the flowers in gold mirri card and added a gem to the centers.  The sentiment is from the Clarity Happy set.

New Grandparents

Now this is a card I made recently for some friends who have just become very proud Grandparents.

The image is from LilioftheValley and the background is from a stamp set I bought last October from Inkydoodles.  This is the first time I've used the stamp and was quite pleased at how it turned out for a first attempt.

For the inside of the card I used the Clarity alphabet set stamped onto Clarity tags which I've threaded through with bakers twine.  The sentiment stamps are from a set of Heartfelt stamps.

Three Years old

I've used some stamps from a Holly Hobbie stamp set which came free with a Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine and the card design is very similar to one of the inspiration examples in the magazine.

I've made the background papers using some of the little flower and butterfly stamps in Dried Marigold and Broken China Distress Inks, and the little girl has been coloured with Promarkers.

The flowers are stamped and cut out from a set of Dreemees stamps using versamark and gold embossing powder, and I've put some little gems into the centre. The foliage is cut from Craft Card which I've also used to back the pieces of background papers onto.  Finally I used some bakers twine behind the image of the little girl.

Butterflies

Hi, here is an early Mother's Day card. I cut a lacy edged Spellbinder die several times extending it so that it fit the outer edge of the card and covered with some peachy gingham paper I had.  The central image is an Inkylicious stamp on the same Spellbinder die and colured with Promarkers.  The butterflies are from a set of stamps by Chloes Creative Cards and they have been coloured using Mica Powder and water.
