Hi, this is my first attempt at decorating a box, which I've had hanging around for a couple of years and never got round it.
I have covered the top and sides with papers from the Heartfelt Creations Sunflower paper pad and the flowers and butterfly are made using the Heartfelt Sunflower stamp and dies. I stamped the flowers onto some white card, cut out with the co-ordinating die and coloured using Adirondack Terracotta and Caramel inks and some copper coloured glitter for the centres. The leaves are stamped onto green card using the Clarity large Maple Leaf stamp and hand cut. The butterfly is cut from the paper pad. I'm really pleased with the result.
Thanks for looking.

New Home
Its been a hectic few weeks when, among other things, I've been helping my Dad and Sister to down size and move house. This is a card I made for them to wish them well in their new home.
The card itself has a pre cut centre front embossed in a lattice pattern, which I found in my box of bits. For the inside of the card I drew around the shape of the front aperture onto a piece of white card and cut to fit. Using stencil brush I applied some Adirondack Mountain Rose and Aubergine inks onto the card after putting a moon mask in the middle. I stamped the birdhouse, fence, squirrel and bird using Clarity Stamps then added the sentiment, also a Clarity stamp, into the moon area. For the background I brushed some Mountain Rose ink through a Clarity dotty mask before gluing the picture in place.
Once the card is closed the picture is framed by the lattice embossed front onto which I added some handmade flowers and foliage cut with a die and coloured with the same inks as I used in the centre. The sentiment on the front of the card is LilioftheValley.
Thank you for taking a look, your comments will be very welcome.

Easter Flowers
This card is inspired by something I saw designed by Emma Williams in the April issue of Making Cards magazine which I thought looked really lovely and just had to have a try making.
I just happen to already have the Easter Cross Stamp by Wild Rose Studio so I stamped this onto some white card cut into an arched window using the inner part of a Clarity shape stencil. I drew a green line around the arch with a Pro marker and coloured the stamp with promarkers. I dry embossed the white background with an lattice style embossing folder on some pearly white card and matted onto a light green pearly card. The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley and I made the 3 little flowers using The Sunflower matching stamp and Die set from the Heartfelt Creations. I finished off with some green and silver ribbon from my stash.
Not quite as good as the one Emma Williams made of course but I hope you like it as much as I do, your comments will be very welcome. Happy Easter,
