Roses and Die Cuts

Here is a card I made using some papers from Which Craft Doncaster, some die cuts and ready made flowers which I think were a free gift with a magazine.  The only stamping on this card is the sentiments.

For the inside of the card I've used more of the papers and a sentiment stamp which I believe came from Inkylicious.

Stencils and flowers

This is my entry for the October Clarity Blog Challenge.  For the background I've picked out some of the flowers on a Clarity flower stencil in Milled Lavendar Distress ink with a stencil brush.  The vase is also a Clarity Stencil and I've put one of the small flowers from the same stencil I used for the background in the centre of the vase and again I used Milled Lavender.  For the banner I used the words that come with the Vase stencil in Meadow Adirondack for a contrast.  Finally I stamped the Clarity
floral Bouquet stamp into the vase and coloured with Spectrum Noir pencils. I've covered the big flowers with a Wink of Stella clear pen to give a bit of a shimmer but that may be lost in the photo.

I hope you like the finished card, thank you for looking, any comments you leave will be very gratefully received.

A Gift For you

A little gift bag I made this week using some Lili of the Valley papers with die cut edges on a white bag.  I made the flowers using Heartfelt Creations Botanical Rose stamps heat embossed with sparkling white WOW powder on Vellum and coloured with lavender chalk inks then die cut with Heartfelt botanical rose dies. The swirls are also cut with a Heartfelt die in purple card.  For the sentiment on the tag I used a Clarity Stamp and Adirondack Egg Plant ink and tied with a lavender ribbon.  There is also a lavender ribbon bow on the bag.

Floral Heart

This is my second MDF decorated shape, well the second one that's good enough to be seen.

This time I've not used papers but painted with Acrylic white paint and used some Dusty Concorde Distress ink to shade the edges.  The flowers are Heartfelt Creations botanical rose stamped and embossed with sparkling snow WOW embossing powder onto acetate, something I've not tried before.  The flowers and leaves have been coloured from the back with some lavender, pink and green chalk inks.  The swirls are also cut from a Heartfelt die and inked with Dusty Concorde.  The verse is from Clarity. A lavender ribbon finishes off the heart.

Thanks for looking your comments will be very welcome.

Memory Box

This is a new venture for me into the world of decorating mdf shapes.  In this instance I've used some House of Zandra papers to cover this MDF box having first coated it with Acrylic paint.

This is a view from above of the lid of the box although I'm not sure the photograph shows the detail well enough.  The flower is created from one of the House of Zandra flower sheets and I've used some glitter glue on the petals to give it some sparkle.  The words made using the Clarity Stamp alphabet set covered with Glossy Accents. I've also cut out a butterfly and some of the foliage from the papers to add dimension but it is difficult to see in the photo.

Cycling Fun

Hi, this is another card made using the Craftwork Cards Al Fresco paper pad, this time with a travelling theme.  I've used the bicycle papers to cover the inside of the card and cut an aperture in the front of the card with a fancy edged circular die. The front of the card is covered with pink paper and I've fussy cut out the bicycle, tags and bunting from another sheet of the papers.

Thanks for looking.

Strawberries and Cream

A lovely basket of fresh strawberries picked from the Craftwork Cards Al Fresco paper pad which I've had for a year and hardly used.  The papers are matted onto a cream card although it looks white in the picture. and finished with some little flowers also in cream with a red gem in the centre.

Thanks for looking.
