Snowflakes

I've been keeping busy this week working on some more Christmas cards using these lovely stamps from Hobbyart.

I stamped the snowflakes with versamark and think the pad is running out as I had a few attempts that didn't quite give the best results.  I used some silver wow powder to heat emboss onto some white card which I've inked first with Adirondack Stonewash then matted onto dark blue card.  The snowflakes on the side panel are stamped with Faded Jeans Distress ink. The sentiment and little robin are also stamped with Hobbyart stamps.

Clean & Simple

This is my entry for this month's Clarity Stamp Blog Challenge Clean and Simple.  I stamped and heat embossed the flower with clear embossing powder onto cream card and coloured the flowerhead with mica powder and a water brush and a lilac colour. Finally I used some deep plum coloured card to mat onto.  This is about as clean and simple as I can, hope you like it.

Noel

Hello there this is the first of my Christmas Cards for this year using this lovely Hobby Art Noel stamp and some green card.  I've just made over 20 of these so wanted to keep it simple. I've used some pencils to colour the image and some Stickles to add a bit of sparkle around the edges. On with the next design now.

Thanks in falling leaves

For today's card I'm showing a one layer card I made recently using all Clarity Stamps.

I created the background by brushing Stonewash ad Lettuce Adirondack inks onto a piece of Clarity Geli Card. I stamped and heat embossed the words onto the background and then used a couple of blue pencils to fill in the ribbon wording.  Finally I randomly stamped the medium and small Maple Leaf stamps in a variety of different Distress Ink colours to give an autumnal effect. Oh and not to forget the little bird from the Bird Table and Garden set.

Need for Speed

I am trying to be more disciplined and blog at least once a week, so that I don't lose sight of the projects I complete.

So for the background on this card I used a cogs embossing folder on red card matted onto black and added some gilding flakes to the cog pattern on the middle border.  The central picture is from a sheet of decoupage papers matted onto a black die cut shape.  The sentiment has been stamped and heat embossed.

Thank you for looking, your comments will be greatly appreciated.

Roses and Die Cuts

Here is a card I made using some papers from Which Craft Doncaster, some die cuts and ready made flowers which I think were a free gift with a magazine.  The only stamping on this card is the sentiments.

For the inside of the card I've used more of the papers and a sentiment stamp which I believe came from Inkylicious.

Thanks for looking, if you choose to leave a comment it will be very welcome.

Stencils and flowers

This is my entry for the October Clarity Blog Challenge.  For the background I've picked out some of the flowers on a Clarity flower stencil in Milled Lavendar Distress ink with a stencil brush.  The vase is also a Clarity Stencil and I've put one of the small flowers from the same stencil I used for the background in the centre of the vase and again I used Milled Lavender.  For the banner I used the words that come with the Vase stencil in Meadow Adirondack for a contrast.  Finally I stamped the Clarity
floral Bouquet stamp into the vase and coloured with Spectrum Noir pencils. I've covered the big flowers with a Wink of Stella clear pen to give a bit of a shimmer but that may be lost in the photo.

I hope you like the finished card, thank you for looking, any comments you leave will be very gratefully received.
